Not only is the concert set in a pub, but it has a real working bar from which the cast will pull pints and invite audience members to get up close and personal with the show – witnessing the action from chairs and tables among the guys – come ready to drink in the action!

THE TECHTONICS

World Champions of Collegiate A Cappella, 2016

Ehsaan was the MD and primary arranger for the a cappella group The Techtonics from 2015-16. He led the group to victory at the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) Finals at the Beacon Theatre on Broadway in 2016 – the first and, to this day, only time a non-US group has ever won the competition. The group won ‘Best Arrangement’ for the songs “Isometric”, “Bicycle Race”, “Lay Me Down” and “I Saw Her Standing There”. Ehsaan received Imperial College Union colours and accepted an award on behalf of The Techtonics for ‘Special Services To Imperial College’. The music videos of the ICCA set have amassed over 100,000 views on YouTube.

Other ventures with The Techtonics include a sold out, 5-star, 3-week run at the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe with the musical-comedy show “Don’t Push The Button”, as well as multiple tours across the USA, Canada and Hong Kong. He was AMD and one of the arrangers of the groups’ 2nd studio album “Clockwork”. Previously, The Techtonics have won ‘Best Male Collegiate Song’ at the Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARA) for “Earthquake”.
